How much does Morning Press cost?

Morning Press is free to download and use. There's also an optional Pro subscription with a 3-day free trial available inside the app, but you can stay on the free version as long as you like.

Where is my data stored?

The content you create (your projects, habits, completion history, streaks, and personal settings) is stored locally on your iPhone inside the app's secure sandbox. During onboarding, we send your demographic answers (age range, gender, goals, focus area, etc.), your first name if you entered one, and basic device context (platform, app version, locale, timezone) to our backend. We also send anonymous usage events such as screen views and feature taps to our analytics provider. All of this is linked to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your Apple ID, email, or any advertising ID. We use this data to understand how people use the app and improve it, not for advertising or cross-app tracking. The full list is in our Privacy Policy. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your in-app content may also be included in your personal encrypted iCloud backup, which is controlled entirely by iOS.

How do I turn off notifications?

You can disable notifications from inside the app at any time by opening Settings and toggling reminders off. You can also manage them system-wide by going to your iPhone's Settings app → Notifications → Morning Press, where you can turn off all alerts, or fine-tune banners, sounds, and badges. You can re-enable them anytime from the same place.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Use the contact form above and select "Bug report" as the issue. The more detail you give, the faster we can fix it. Try to include what you were doing when it happened, what you expected to see, and what actually happened instead. Mentioning your iPhone model and iOS version is also a big help, since some bugs only show up on specific devices.

How do I delete my data?

Because the content you create lives only on your device, the simplest way to delete it is to uninstall Morning Press from your iPhone. All projects, habits, streaks, and settings will be removed along with the app. To also remove the anonymous onboarding responses and analytics we keep server-side, email us via the contact form above and we'll help locate and delete your records. If you have iCloud Backup turned on, the next backup taken after you uninstall will reflect the deletion of your on-device content as well.

What happens after the 3-day free trial?

If you do nothing, your Pro subscription begins at the price displayed when you started the trial, billed through your Apple ID. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged and you'll simply continue using the free version of the app. After the trial, you can still cancel anytime from your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, and you'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period before reverting to the free tier.

Can I use Morning Press without subscribing?

Yes. Morning Press is free to use, no subscription required. You can create projects, track habits, and build streaks without ever paying a cent. The Pro subscription is optional. If you skip the trial during onboarding (or cancel before it ends), you'll keep using the free version with no interruption. You can upgrade to Pro any time from inside the app.

Can I use Morning Press on Android or the web?

Right now Morning Press is built specifically for iPhone, which means it isn't available on Android or as a web app yet. If you'd like to see it on another platform, send us a note through the contact form above. Demand from real users genuinely helps us decide what to build next.
